Membership

Membership rates remain unchanged at $55 (G.S.T. free) for individual members.

By special resolution we have included a new category titled “Full Membership” which entitles an individual member to nominate an additional cardholder to be a member of the Club (e.g. partner, spouse, child, etc). Full Membership costs $80.00 per annum and entitles both members to full Club discounts.

Individual members who wish to upgrade their membership to “Full Membership” are required to pay a once-only $15 Joining Fee for their nominated additional card holder. While only one member need join per family, if other members of the family wish to participate in club sporting events such as circuit sprints, then for insurance purposes they must also become a Club member.

For the Sporting Members

  • There has been a 30 - 100% increase in CAMS fees due to public liability insurance. Supersprint will cost $60 - 80 in 2004.

  • Level 2S licence is the minimum requirement for sporting events. Racing fuel will now only be sold to those people who have a fuel purchase record book available from CAMS at a cost of a $40.

  • The ruling made by the MSCA regarding only cars made before 1980 to be regarded as Marque Sports Cars Class ABCD, has now been removed following Allen's letter and discussion with MSCA. Alan has been appointed the MSCA Eligibility Officer

Intake Performance Kit

Had an e-mail from Myles Gooch from Unifilter Australia.
They have just completed their new performance intake kit for the MX5. They had great help from the N.S.W. MX5 club. He did not say what that was. He attached some info for our members. (Click here to check it out) If you have any questions please contact him. The details are on the flyer. He also offered a discount to Club members but did not mention what that would be.
