Description: 1998, Red, NB8A MX5 in beautiful condition! As a MX5 club member and having owned 2 of these fantastic cars myself, I have an in depth knowledge on all things mechanical and otherwise MX5, and personally vouch for this car’s excellent condition. I prefer to maintain all my cars myself (not for the financial saving but mainly for the piece of mind in knowing all work has been done properly with due care) and have lavished a lot of attention on this car as well. It has had a brand new radiator fitted earlier this year (the original was on the verge of going on the top tank – common MX5 ailment…). A new Air-Con condenser was fitted earlier this year as well (original had a slight leak…) and the system was re-gassed at the same time (Air-Con now works VERY well). It has 4 quality Toyo tyres that are approximately 10-15% worn with at least another 30-50,000kms of normal driving left in them by my estimation. The car has a comprehensive service history and I have kept a detailed log including all related service and parts receipts, for all work performed on it by myself since my partner has owned it (October ’07). It is currently showing 154350kms on the odometer and in typical MX5 fashion, it runs beautifully. It doesn’t use any oil and the gearbox is also typical MX5 in its feel and is in tip top shape. Clutch is also fine, showing no imminent signs of either slip or shudder (unlike my own NB a while back but that’s another story…) Paintwork is also in great condition. The car has a style bar fitted, a quality set of vent rings (a decent set of these are really quite expensive…), a chrome gear shift knob and a set of ‘Roadster’ chrome scuff plates as well which spruce up the interior nicely. It also has a quality Sony head unit fitted. Registration expires April 2009 and the reason for selling is simply that my partner has started a new job in the city and can’t justify owning the car anymore (despite my ongoing protestations!) as she catches the train every day. I confidently assure the buyer of a clean honest car and have many more photographs that I am happy to e-mail any prospective buyers. We (especially myself !) will be very sad to see it go…

Description: Custom exhaust system for a nb8a MX-5. It was made by Robert Bliss exhausts in Queensland. It's about 2 years old. Its mild steel piping, with stainless rear muffler, resonator, magnaflow cat (pretty sure), rear exit piping and tips. Description:  This car is in original condition and has had only two owners since new.  The original lady owner had the car up until March 2005, when I then purchased the car.  The soft top and the protective cover are in perfect condition, along with the red hard top which is included. The hard top has only been fitted to the car once.  I have just recently had braces fitted to the front and rear of the car to assist with the handling performance. This work was carried out by MX5 Mania.  This vehicle has rarely been driven in wet weather.  The car comes with kick plates, carpet mats and original momo steering wheel. I have recently fitted RJR Flame 16 x 6.5 alloy wheels along with Pirelli Dragon tyres, which are in perfect condition. Lock nuts also fitted. Original wheels are included without tyres.  The car is registered until Feb.09.  This car has always been garaged and fastidiously maintained.
